Diamond Beach in B&W
A major destination on the southern ring road, Diamond Beach contains rich, black sand that is awash with icebergs that have floated out of the Lagoon into the ocean and then quickly swept back on to the shores. In the evening time, while there is still a bit of light, the beach goes even blacker while the icebergs begin to glow as the radiate the last of the days light. Most of my shots of this beach are in color, but this is one of my favorite B&W versions.
