Micro Adventures

Overnight on the Coast

I think more than ever, in this COVID crazy life, it is imperative that we recognize the need to get outside and travel. While normal travel has been taken away from us, there is nothing stopping us from traveling close to home. Just the act of getting a few miles away from home, pitching a tent, a hammock, or simply car camping in the woods, is good for the soul.

These pictures were from a quick overnighter in the fall where I loaded up the bike with a UL kit and hit the road. Less than 10 miles away, I was pitched on a cliff, eating sausage, drinking some good whiskey and enjoying coffee in the foggy morning. I was back home by 9:00 and my mood had improved 1000%.

So, don’t let this whole travel lockdown get you down. Get out and move… I am in the NWA area for the next two months and would love to participate in some simple overnighters. If you are interested hit me up via email, the contact page or the comments below. Now, go get out and breathe some fresh air.
