Staccato CS
After much debate I finally pulled the trigger and added a Staccato CS to my EDC setup. Built in Texas these guns are the epitome of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Previously my SIG P365x Macro was my go to, but I wanted a bit more heft and a nicer trigger (stock) than what came on the SIG along with two additional safety features for AIWB carry.
Last week I was able to pick up a CS from Real Street Tactical in FL and let me just say, this gun is really solid. I added a Holosun 407EDS to it (more on that later) and other than a bit of tinkering to site in the dot, the gun was up and rocking from the first shots.
Make no mistake, this is still a small gun, and as such, it is definitely still snappy. As snappy as the P365?, well I am not sure yet. What I will say is the trigger is fabulous and I think it is part of the reason this gun shoots so flat and consistent. I have only had one range session with it, so not enough time for form all of my opinions, but first impressions are in and this is a really solid piece. Now to sort out my holster options and it can move into my daily rotation. I will put out an update after this weeks range sessions with more thoughts on how the CS handles and shoots along with why I wanted to add a 2011 style gun to my EDC kit.
